Boarding Mares
We offer both permanent and seasonal boarding for mares at Elusive Bloodstock. The free draining soil allows us to turn mares out during the day all year round before coming back into our spacious loose boxes at night. We have foaling boxes with CCTV in which are monitored 24 hours a day during the foaling season. We also offer an excellent covering service either in house or walking out to any stallions in the UK. For the last few seasons, we have managed to get a high percentage of the mares in foal on their first cover with the help of Holly Grantham BVetMed MRCVS of Tower Equine.
Sales Preperation
We consign foals, yearlings and mares to all the major sales in England with each horse getting a prep tailored to its specific needs.
Breaking
We also have the facilities to break in horses before they join their trainers. Each horse is given the time to ensure no problems will arise at a later date.
Spelling Racehorses
We are more than happy to accommodate racehorses in need of a rest or those recovering from injury as well as horses bought from the sales which are not yet ready to enter training.
Broodmare Management
We currently manage mares on behalf of other people, helping them decide on covering sires and which sales to place the youngstock in. If you are interested in this service please get in touch to discuss your exact needs.
